Beneath the juniper…
Running into God
The new insight, the sudden courage that came out of nowhere — that was God, God in subtle disguise, here, loving us, whether we acknowledge him or not.
About that new heart
What do you need to change in order to receive the new heart God offers?
Living reverentially
What we do to counter God’s will, what others do to mess things up, what Satan does to disorder things, NONE of that amounts to anything when it comes up against GOD.
I come to the cross
When “just pray” and “just breathe” do not work, this is my prerequisite.
Grace to change
Chronic abuse hangs on tight. It forms attitudes we take with us into adulthood. But we can change.
The weight
I don’t have to continue feeling afraid, suspicious, and angry. I don’t have to question myself or hate myself. I don’t have to. God makes all things new (Rev 21:5).
